Ceremony

Please arrive by 3:00 PM for the ceremony. As we'll be celebrating outdoors, we recommend bringing some weather-friendly options—just in case!

Reception

After the ceremony, please join us in our backyard for an evening of delicious food, drinks, and dancing. We'll be serving a variety of hors d'oeuvres, fresh salads, and a catered BBQ buffet.

Day Trips

🚗 Peggy's Cove & Lunenburg Day Trip

 

Morning:

Drive from Halifax (8:30 AM) to Peggy’s Cove via Hwy 333. Explore the lighthouse and village, then enjoy brunch at The Sou’Wester overlooking the ocean.

 

Late Morning:
Continue the scenic Lighthouse Route (Hwy 3) toward Lunenburg. Stop in Mahone Bay for coffee and photos of the Three Churches.

 

Afternoon:
Arrive in Lunenburg for lunch at the Salt Shaker Deli. Stroll Old Town’s colourful streets, browse gift shops, and visit Ironworks Distillery for a local tasting.

    

Return:
Head back to Halifax (4:30 PM) via Hwy 103, with optional sunset stops at Queensland Beach or St. Margaret’s Bay.

🚗 Halifax to Annapolis Valley Day Trip

 

Morning:
Depart Halifax (8:30 AM) and arrive in Wolfvile around 10:00 AM. Start your day strolling through The Tangled Garden and nearby local shops along Main Street.

 

Lunch:
Enjoy a hearty meal and craft beer at Church Brewing Co., a renovated stone church with a lively patio and farm-to-table menu.

 

Afternoon:
Drive to Cape Split Provincial Park (30 min) for an unforgettable hike with panoramic Bay of Fundy views (allow 2–3 hrs).

If you don't feel like a hike, drive to Blomidon Look Off for panaromic views of the Annapolis Valley 

 

On your return, stop at Halls Harbour Lobster Pound for a classic seaside supper and to watch the powerful tides roll in.

 

🍷 Alternative: Annapolis Valley Wine Tour

If hiking isn’t your style, hop on a guided wine bus tour from Halifax or Dartmouth.
Enjoy tastings at top vineyards like Lightfoot & Wolfville, Gaspereau Vineyards, and Domaine de Grand Pré, paired with stunning valley views and local bites.
Tours usually run 9 AM – 5 PM and include round-trip transport — a relaxing way to explore the region without driving.
